Life doesn’t always go to plan – we get that. At Cannon Property Management, we believe rent arrears should be dealt with quickly, fairly, and with understanding for everyone involved – landlords and tenants alike.

That’s where Chris and Lera come in. They’re our friendly arrears specialists, and their job is simple: to help you get back on track without added stress.

Missed a Payment? Let’s Talk

If a rent payment is missed, we’ll drop the tenant a gentle email within 3 days, just to check in and ask: “Can we help?”

From there, we’ll offer a free, no-pressure phone call at a time that suits the tenant. It’s a chance to talk things through, figure out what’s going on financially, and see what support might be available.

Our priority is always to find a fair solution that works for both sides. Most importantly, we want to keep tenants in their homes and avoid things escalating.

Once we’ve got a plan in place, we’ll stay involved if needed — offering ongoing support and checking in to make sure things are on the up.

For Landlords – It’s All Included

Our arrears management service is included as part of our standard management package — no hidden extras. For landlords who don’t use our services, we charge £100 (creditable against our management services within 6 months) plus 5% of arrears.

If there are arrears that took place before Cannon PM took over the management, we can still step in and help. In those cases, we charge a 5% recovery fee on any arrears successfully collected.

That way, you get expert support, a proactive approach, and peace of mind — all without the drama.
